Branch County SATF

Programs

Substance abuse has a major impact on individuals, families, and communities. Consequences of substance abuse include child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, motor vehicle crashes, crime, homicide, and suicide.

The Substance Abuse Task Force (SATF) oversees several campaigns that serve to educate individuals, families, and the community on the county’s highest risk areas: underage drinking, underage tobacco use, illegal marijuana use, prescription and over-the-counter medication abuse, and methamphetamine. In addition, we address the rise in heroin, suicide, and other emerging drugs of abuse.
