Tie One On For Safety

Tie One on For Safety is a campaign started by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to highlight the most dangerous time on our roads – the time between Thanksgiving and New Years Day. The red ribbon, a symbol of substance abuse prevention, is distributed to licensed drivers as a reminder to drive safely and responsibly during the holiday season instead of “tying one on” with alcohol and getting behind the wheel. Tie One on For Safety is one of the longest running campaigns but the message it sends remains relevant today.
